Additional Baltic Route Opened from Klaipeda to Teesport – BALT VI

Containerships are pleased to announce the launch of BALT VI, a new service operating between the UK and the Baltics. Running from Klaipeda to Teesport, BALT VI provides increased capacity, flexibility and reliability during the peak season in eastern Europe.

The service, operating on mv A2B Leader, launched on Friday 16th October 2020 and arrived in Teesport on Monday. It provides an added weekly capacity of 280 TEUs with a transit time of just four days. A Friday departure from Klaipeda ensures cargo is ready in the UK at the start of the following week.

This new route is part of Containerships’ commitment to providing the industry’s best customer experience. In addition, we will continue to further upgrade and develop our routes and services to best serve our customers’ needs.

For more information about BALT VI, please do not hesitate to contact your local Containerships commercial representative. Alternatively, you can send enquiries to hello@containerships.eu.

BALT VI is one of several services we operate in the Baltic region, so if you require an alternative, please feel free to check out our routes page here.

Containerships’ Service

Our multimodal transport solutions connect north-western Europe, from the Baltics and Russia to the Canary Islands and Morocco. We offer a wide variety of customised services including secure warehousing and storage, re-handling of cargo units, packing and labelling, and customs clearance.

We combine multiple modes of transportation with innovative logistics services and provide reliable, secure and cost-effective supply chain solutions. In addition, we are the first European operator to use LNG as the main fuel source throughout the end-to-end service including sea and land. As a result, choosing Containerships can help to reduce the carbon footprint of your cargo.
