DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit has started shipping services between Patras and Trieste only within Europe as part of the company's new organization. Operating on indirect routes between Trieste and Patras as part of the existing network of DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit since 2018, the company's Greece line will continue to operate between Patras and Trieste with a dedicated service on the new line.

DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit's services based on the market's needs will provide regular and reliable shipping between Italy and Greece. From 2018, Trieste line operated indirectly via Patras after departure from Pendik in export direction. Similarly, ships departing from Trieste for Pendik would first stop in Patras. As part of the company's new organization, DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit has started services between Patras and Trieste only for shipments in Europe.
